At the Last Subcommittee Meeting…

You can find the previous meeting minutes here.

The Criminal Justice subcommittee had its last meeting on Wednesday, June 23rd.

Subcommittee members were presented with the outcomes of the Action Summit including attendee statistics, actions that are on target, what attendees felt was missing, and recommendations/strategies to continue the conversation.

Based on the feedback from the Action Summit, the subcommittee is heading in the right direction and is ready to begin drafting recommendations.

Subcommittee members also reviewed the top three issues that participants from the Action Summit believe the Task Force/Criminal Justice subcommittee should work on. The subcommittee members made edits to their first priority and agreed to define the civilian board as a civilian review board. They will also be reviewing current police department policies.
