The top three ideas under priority one were to create an accessible resource that includes information about all existing opportunitiesleverage business partnerships to support programming, and eliminate barriers to accessing workforce development programs.

Under priority two, the subcommittee members discussed providing more robust mental health resources to students and the community, offering anti-biascultural sensitivity and de-escalation training to educators, and creating an education liaison position within the mayor’s office.

The subcommittee members also discussed the importance of getting more respondents for their survey in order to ensure that they are including the needs of the community in their recommendations.
