At the most recent meeting of the Task Force (March 26th at 10 am), members were encouraged to participate in the upcoming press conference (details). Subcommittee members shared updates on the progress of their respective committees. The Task Force also discussed progress towards preparation for the Action Summit on June 12th.
Sally Chester asked about conflict resolution management models that can be used should conflict during the Action Summit arise. George Soria asked about bringing attention to and addressing immediate issues/concerns he has seen/heard throughout the community, particularly with regards to COVID-19 vaccinations.
The next meeting will have more details about the Action Summit such as goals to present, updated documents, stakeholder engagement strategies, and facilitator recruitment. Julie Fisher Cummings asked about facilitator recruitment requirements and training.
